Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980, in Australia, is an actress and model. In Australia she gained notoriety due to her role as Pepper Steiger that she played in the soap drama Neighbors over 100 episodes in the period 2006-2007. The first show she appeared in Hollywood was the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine, where she played a young actress who is new to Hollywood. Then she was offered a part in Scrubs as Maya an attractive beautiful medical student, in Scrubs' ninth season. However the series is suddenly shut down. In the following year, she continued filming her Farrelly Brothers comedy called Good to Shoot, starring Jason Sudeikis and Owen Wilson. Then she appeared in B-series films and series shorts. 2013 was the year she managed to take on more prestigious productions: she was featured for six seasons of the series detective Franklin and Bash then landed her first regular role in the web-series Chosen that is played with Milo Ventimiglia. In the initial two seasons, she played Chad Michael Murray's rebuttal throughout both seasons. In the following year she was in support roles for two feature films involving airplanes. She plays an airline attendant. She and Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador an all-new television series. This thriller series where the characters play CIA agents, and is produced under the direction of director Robert Rodriguez however does not exceed a season of 13 episodes. It continues to air the pilot of a different series, but it doesn't succeed. In 2015 she therefore shared the trailer for a B-series romance Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause and then was seen as a character in comedy Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. Also, she is one of the stars in a huge number of the Terrence Malick's experimental Knight of Cups. She has also appeared in five episodes of the Satisfaction television show.
