Taylor
Taylor Swift, the rarest pop phenomenon is a star who managed to move between the genres of country and mainstream culture, and has become an icon of the pop world. She also conquered all over the world through her music. Swift removed the influences of country as if they were an additional layer of skin and revealed she was one of the most talented singers/songwriters in the generation she was born into. Swift could make the moment personal or harness it for her benefit. Swift's early tracks like the Neotribute in tribute to Tim McGraw were a testament to her talents. However, her second album Fearless from 2008 showed a songwriter finding her voice as well as a broader audience. The album ended up with a lot of legs not only on the U.S. where it racked the record with six platinum singles, on the strength of the Top Ten hits Love Story and the hit single You Belong with Me but throughout the globe, performing especially well with the U.K. Canada and Australia. Speak Now delivered almost two years later and consolidated this success and moved Swift towards the top of fame. The singer's popularity increased through her subsequent three albums: Red (2012), 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017). Swift became a household name within the genre she was a part of. Although she slowed down the production of her folklore album, and Evermore albums in the year 2020, she was still in the forefront of pop music.
